That was the latest weekly theme and it prompted club members to send in lots of treasured family portraits.

It was difficult to pick a winner but in the end we chose this striking photo of a woman holding a cat.

Jason Hornblow went to great efforts to get lots of interesting portraits of people on the streets, including one person wearing rainbow colours.

(Image: Jason Hornblow) Each week, camera club members are given a theme and then post their photos on the club’s Facebook page.

A selection of photos are chosen to be featured in the Oxford Mail, The Oxford Times and online and one image is chosen as photo of the week.

For more information about the club and how it is run, visit the club’s Facebook page. The next theme is ‘ruins’.
