The McFly guitarist decided to take a step away from the spotlight amid the scandal
McFly singer Danny Jones has teased his return to TV after taking some time away from the spotlight to wok on his relationship and spend time with his family.
The I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here winner has spoken publicly for the first time since his controversial kiss with Love Island’ star Maura Higgins at the BRIT Awards back in March.
The married musician shocked fans when he was filmed kissing his former campmate at an afterparty.
Following significant backlash, Jones decided to take a step away from the spotlight.
He later went on to issue a grovelling apology to his wife Georgia Horsley and their seven-year-old son Cooper.
Georgia had even taken time away from their family home as they worked out how to move forward.
Now, two months on from the scandal, the 39-year-old has revealed that he has landed a new TV gig.
Jones took to Instagram to tell fans that he will appear on the latest series of ITV’s You Bet!.
The gameshow made its comeback last year with Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby as hosts.
The former This Morning presenter will not be returning for the second series, yet Stephen will be back with celebrity friends on hand – one of which will be the All About You singer.
Danny shared a video on his Instagram stories of himself with Greg Rutherford and Oti Mabuse – who are also doing the show.
The trio were at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and were watching brave people take on one of the biggest rides.
During the short clip, Danny seemed happy to be back filming again following a tough start to the year.
Last week, Danny shared another update as he performed alongside his McFly bandmates.
Alongside photos of him psyching up the huge crowds in Wales, Danny wrote: “Back with my people. Thank you Swansea.”
