Explore a War-Torn Town in Deserter

The indie game studio AskaLot Games has revealed that the team is aiming to release their upcoming title Deserter on Steam in 2025. The specific release date will be announced sometime in the future. This stealth RPG promises to offer a unique experience about social class set in a war-torn world. Take a look at the trailer below to get a glimpse of the adventure ahead.

Welcome to the City, a place where the Party watches every move. In the shadows, competing ideas clash, and power struggles never stop. Cold, unfeeling officials control the government, while criminals thrive on the streets. Behind closed doors, people long for freedom, while the slums are ruled by disease.

In this place, you will play as John Holden, a soldier on the run. To survive and escape, you must do whatever it takes: sneak into homes, steal food and medicine, sharpen your skills, and shape the destinies of those around you. You’ll have a variety of tools at your disposal, from lock picks and crowbars to grappling hooks and dynamite. You can also use your environment to your advantage.

Create a playstyle that’s uniquely yours with a deep RPG system featuring nearly 100 skills and talents. Choose from 8 mastery paths and shape your character into a stealthy pickpocket, a sharp hacker, or a persuasive con artist. So, will you side with the elite or help the oppressed ones? The choice is all yours.
