At Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Indiana Pacers delivered a statement performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers, storming to a 129-109 victory in Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals. With this win, Indiana now leads the series 3-1 and is just one win away from advancing to the Conference Finals.The Pacers wasted no time asserting control, outscoring Cleveland 38-23 in the first quarter and riding that momentum through a blistering 42-point second period. The Cavaliers, unable to recover from the early blow, were left playing catch-up for the remainder of the night.

Pascal Siakam and Myles Turner lead the charge
Pascal Siakam turned in a stellar performance, finishing with 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in just 21 minutes. He was closely followed by Myles Turner, who added 20 points and 7 rebounds, commanding the paint on both ends.
Obi Toppin also stepped up in a big way, contributing 20 points and 5 rebounds off the bench, while Ben Sheppard made the most of his minutes with 14 points. T.J. McConnell added 13 points and 8 assists, keeping the offense fluid and aggressive.
The Pacers’ balanced scoring was evident in their box score—eight players contributed at least 7 points, showcasing Indiana’s depth and teamwork.
Cavaliers struggle despite Garland’s efforts
For the Cleveland Cavaliers, Darius Garland was the standout performer, putting up 21 points and 6 assists. Donovan Mitchell contributed 12 points, while Isaac Okoro impressed off the bench with 13. Max Strus and Jaylon Tyson added 11 each, but Cleveland’s stars couldn’t overcome Indiana’s relentless offense.Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley struggled to make a major impact in the paint, combining for just 12 points and 7 rebounds. Turnovers plagued the Cavaliers throughout the night, finishing with 22 giveaways compared to Indiana’s more disciplined approach.
Pacers thrive despite Cavs’ hot shooting
While Cleveland had the statistical edge in shooting—52.7% from the field and 42.9% from three compared to Indiana’s 42.9% and 40%—the Pacers outperformed in other critical areas. Indiana controlled the boards with 41 rebounds (10 offensive) to Cleveland’s 37 and dished out 37 assists to the Cavs’ 20.

The Cavaliers did well at the free throw line (87.5% on 35-of-40) but Indiana’s defensive intensity—highlighted by more blocks and steals—helped offset the shooting disparity.
It was a physical game with a combined 55 fouls called (28 on the Pacers, 27 on the Cavaliers), adding to the chippy playoff atmosphere.
The Pacers’ bench depth, rebounding, and high-energy ball movement proved to be the difference in Game 4. With the series shifting back to Cleveland, the Cavaliers are now in do-or-die mode, while Indiana will aim to close things out and punch their ticket to the Conference Finals.
