Still need your REAL ID? Service Oklahoma to offer some evening hours ahead of deadline

The deadline for obtaining your REAL ID is getting real close. After May 7, all adults will need a REAL ID to board domestic flights, enter military bases and access some federal buildings, among other things.
Service Oklahoma is expanding hours to help everyone get theirs on time before the deadline. Starting Monday, select Service Oklahoma locations will offer REAL ID appointments on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. through the end of the year.
Though the locations are concentrated mainly in the metro area and surrounding areas, Service Oklahoma said the expansion will help people throughout the state.
“We know life doesn’t always fit into a 9-to-5 schedule,” said Diedra O’Neil, Chief Strategy & Operating Officer at Service Oklahoma. “These extended hours are about making essential services more accessible and supporting Oklahomans in a way that works for them.”
