Radu Dragusin has suffered an ACL injury and will undergo surgery, Tottenham have confirmed.

The centre-back came on at half-time in Spurs’ Europa League win over Elfsborg last week, but was forced off just 20 minutes later with a knee injury.

Dragusin saw specialists on Monday and it has been confirmed that surgery is required, bringing an end to his season.

Tottenham club said: “We can confirm that Radu Dragusin will undergo surgery for an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury to his right knee.

“Radu will be assessed by our medical team to determine when he can return to training. We’re all with you, Radu.”
