Rupali Ganguly is a popular face in Indian television. While the actress starred in many celebrated shows, Anupamaa led her to become a household name. Rupali’s spirituality is not a hidden side. She is often spotted at religious places, seeking blessing from the almighty. In the latest, the TV actress embarked on a spiritual trip to the iconic Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.
Taking time out from her packed schedule, the Anupamaa fame began her elaborate tour accompanied by near and dear ones. On her Instagram stories, she shared a bunch of pictures and videos from her religious trip to update her fans on her whereabouts.
Rupali’s first entry is a selfie while the second is a video from inside her car. She noted, “Chalo bulaawaa aaya hai” and “Vaishomata ki toll” in her updates. The next two posts show the actress trekking to the holy shrine nestled in the Trikuta Mountains. In one of the clips, she could be seen walking barefoot as she headed to seek blessings.
She then put up a photo and a video of the deities followed by an image featuring a local shop. Rupali also added a signboard which showed the way to the sacred destination. A few other videos caught the actress’ mood and surroundings.
Anupamaa has been in the limelight for quite sometime now, especially due to the controversies surrounding the show. Recently, actress Alisha Parveen was removed overnight by the makers. However, she has alleged that she has been ousted from the daily soap without any information. Alisha used to play the role of Rupali Ganguly’s stepdaughter Raahi in the Rajan Shahi show.
Amid reports of the ongoing conflict, actor Shivam Khajuria, who played Prem opposite Alisha, revealed that the actress didn’t attend Anupamaa director Romesh Kalra’s birthday party, which took place on December 20. In recent times, several other actors namely Sudhanshu Pandey, Gaurav Khanna and Nidhi Shah left the show.
